After a very long wait – they finally arrived: my übergorgeous Luckies from Frollein von Sofa. They are all I hoped them to be: golden, stylish and yet comfy. The stout little heel takes you from smooth surfaces to cobbled streets and lawns without geting stuck.
Let me sing a short praise for the stumpy heel: you can still walk at a brisk pace, you still have the posture of a higher heel. You don’t get stuck in the paving (hate when that happens). And you can stand and walk around it all day while looking classy.
Guess mine will make a grand premiere at the (horse) races. There is a Ladies Day in Krefeld and yes I intend to go there with a few friends. Dressed up to the nines and with one of my hats!
Unpacking the beauties: Pink box, pretty postcard – yayh!
Light pink silk paper – love, love, love and first glimpse of the shoes. The colour is a very pretty gold. Muted. Not Yellow. Classy! Adorable pale lilac lining and I love the clover with a singe rhinestone.
Here you can see that cute, cute heel. Love it! Acutally I would like that shape covered in tweed, too.
On the go – they fit well. Ok, so my toes don’t peek out. They are shy and hardly do that with peep toes. Mine are cute, short and stumpy toes. The kind for cheerful nail varnish.
The shoes went home with me, the postcard stays at my desk. Looks great with my godchild’s abstract and the orchid.
Nach einer gefühlt ewigen Wartezeit sind die wunderbaren Lukies von Frollein von Sofa endlich da! Sie sind genauso wie ich sie mir gewünscht habe: gülden, stylish und komfortabel. Der solide kleine Absatz bringt einem von glatten Belägen über Kopfsteinpflaster und Rasen ohne stecken zu bleiben.
Ich liebe diese Absätze: man kann durch die niedrige Höhe immer noch zügig gehen, hat die Körperhaltung wie bei einem höheren Schuh, man bleibt nirgend stecken (ich hasse es, wenn das passiert) und man kann den lieben langen Tag damit gehen und stehen.
Meine werden ihre Premiere zum Pferderennen erleben. In Krefeld gibt es einen Ladies Day mit Hutwettbewerb. Da geht es dann mit ein paar Freunden hin. Natürlich in Schale geworfen und mit Hut!

Die Farbe ist ein schönes mattes Gold. Nicht gelbgold. Edel! Sehr schön auch das hell Lila Innenfutter. Das Kleeblatt ist auch toll, mit einem Hauch Glitzer genau richtig.
Hier sieht man den entzückenden Absatz. Der Schuh würde mir auch aus Tweed gut gefallen!
On the go – mal eben anprobiert – sie passen gut und machen einen schmalen Fuss. Ok, meine Zehen schauen vorne nicht raus. Die sind halt schüchtern und machen das fast nie bei Peep Toes. Meine Zehen sind halt süß, kurz und knubbelig.
