Hohoho – Christmas is over. It is the time between the years that I enjoy to unwind. This blog has been too silent for the last months. And I am seriously late since it is New Year’S Eve tonight.
It’s been a whirl – I went to Las Vegas to meet my ladies from the wonderful VFAST vintage show and tell zoom parties that helped me so much during the lock-down phases of the pandemic. In mid October I found myself a new job which I’ll start in the beginning of January. But more about that and Vegas soon – promise!
No new Christmas dress for me this year – although does this one count? I already got it in red or berry, – close enough to the classic Royal Stewart Tartan and in a dark green with yellow and orange.

Both, brooch and the cream white mink collar are vintage. The collar is from the 1950s or 60s. The brooch is signed with the Metropolitan Museum of Art stamp.
This year it is once more the white Christmas tree – with pink and green ornaments. Last year’s astronauts and the unicorn are in there too, but no new ornaments.

Elf yourself – my fun look for boxing day. Sorry the pic is a bit blurry. Unfortunately I lost the pretty poinsettia on my night out. The pin was still attached to the green velvet jacket.
Tweed meets gingerbread – the red tights are sooo much fun. And I think they work really well with my (mock) tweed skirt and waist coat.
The mini deerstalker or half hat is sooo cute and definitely needs more mileage. My christmas jewellry collection has grown quite a bit over the last years. The snowflake brooches are from last year.
