ü30 Blogger + Friends: Sommerfrüchte (meets Dirndl)

Time to join the ladies from the ü30 blogger network for this month’s theme „Summer Fruit“ – although September is usually Dirndl time for me. Though both themes work pretty well together.

My black wool embroidered dirndl. Probably from the 1960s.The simple polka-dot blouse works really well with it. Shein sold recently something like traditional patterned stockings but as plus size tights. Very oldschool. Even with new sneakers.

Mein schwarzes, besticktes Woll Dirndl. Sehr oldschool. Auch mit neuen Sneakern.

Peas in a Pod – a German dirndl, a Russian scarf and an Ukranian berry headband.

Berry Crowns – upper left berry half hat, USA, 1950s, right Ukranian berry crown, 2018 and lower half – the golden and pink headband by Frollein von Sofa, 2020.

Autumn Arrived – this dress rocks in Autumn. Although it looked great in spring, too. Actually in real life the sneakers are pretty much the same colour as the tights.

Fascintating Fruit – top right and middle left are by Frollein von Sofa, the rest apart from the exotic fruit are self made. Wait a second – you got something wrong here: there is a tomato fascinator. But that is a vegetable. Not really – technically tomatos are fruit, more precise berries!

Nature is the inspiration.
Inspiration Natur.

Rich Harvest – brooches galore, most are vintage. I still have a few not shown here. Melons, bananas, strawberries, cherries. But the ones shown fit much better into autumn.

At the end of this post is a Link-Up – I am already curious what the others will post to Summer Fruit – they are in German though.

Heimatliebe – Fresh as a Daisy

Welcome back to my blog – September is one of my favourite months. It is still warm enough for summer clothes, yet autumn ist silently creeping in. September is also the classic month for the traditional Oktoberfest – in real life as well as here. Cancelled out there again but I still like to take my dirndl and rustic stuff out.

The glass Edelweiss pendant from the 1960s or 70s is a new addition to my collection.

Gingham and Dasies – are well loved country classics. Here they are combined on a pencil skirt.

Yes – you have seen that bag before – in July paired with denim and red gingham.

I really like this delicate enamel necklace. I think I got it in 2009. It is vintage and works well with the bavarian country style as well as with summer dresses. Here it is shown with a nod to Venice.
