Time to join the ladies from the ü30 blogger network for this month’s theme „Tropical Delights“. Once a year I dedicate a whole month in Summer to Tiki and tropical outfits. Guess who suggested the theme.
Es ist Zeit sich den Ladies der ü30 Bloggerinnen (und Friends) anzuschliessen – Thema des Monats ist „Tropisch Exotisch“. Einmal im Jahr gibt es bei mir einen ganzen Sommermonat, der dem Hawaii-Kitsch und tropisch-exotischen Prints gewidmet ist. Ratet mal wer dieses Thema vorgeschlagen hat.
Black Forest – Today’s look is based on a leafy print on a black background. Most of my tropical patterns are a bit lighter or more vivid.
Schwarzer Dschungel – der heutige Look basiert auf einem Blättermuster auf schwarzem Hintergrund. Die meisten meiner tropischen Muster sind heller oder bunter.
Pretty Parure – the thermosset jewellry set is from the 1950s or 60s. Guess it is time to look for a matching brooch.
Glorreiches Grün – das Schmuckensemble aus Thermoset ist aus den 1950- oder 60gern. Es isr Zeit nach einer passenden Brosche zu suchen.
Hard to Spot – the orchid brooch is well camouflaged on the leafy pattern.
Gut Versteckt – die Orchideenbrosche ist auf dem Blattmuster schwer zu finden.
Bali in Berlin – the Gardens of the World at the gates of Berlin offer a variety of horticultural experiences. Matching the tropical theme here are some pics from the greenhouses.

Site Visit – work in progress and all geared up with safety shoes, a high vis vest (though a yellow one would have been a better match) and a cool green helmet that meets all the specs.
Baustellenbesuch – bis hier die Freianlagen gebaut werden, dauert es noch was. Brav mit Weste und Arbeitsschuhen und ein cooler Helm – alles normgerecht. Eine gelbe Weste hätte allerdings besser dazu ausgesehen.
Snake Charmer – not sure if the clutch is real or fake snake. It is from the 1950s or 60s. So the question if real or not depended on your budget. The orchid is about from the same era, the clamper bracelet probably from the 1980s. Sunnies and Earrings are new.
Schlangenbeschwörerin – ich bin mir nicht sicher ob die Tasche aus echter oder falscher Schlange ist. In den 1950gern oder den frühen 60s war das mehr eine Frage des Preises als alles andere. Die Orchideenbrosche ist auch aus der Zeit. Die Sonnenbrille und die Ohrringe sind neu.
Same but Different – the top is also in the same print like the dress. It’s been a few years now that I really enjoy to wear shorts again.
Das Gleiche in Grün – das Top hat das gleiche Muster, wie das Kleid. Ich trage seit ein paar Jahren wirklich gerne wieder Shorts.
At the end of this post is a Link-Up – I am already curious what the others will post about Tropical Delights – they are (mostly) in German though. By the way – this isn’t my bike, but it was too good a match not include it.
