Rum raisin or anything with coffee, or fruity/ yoghurt/ most cream fillings. „Chocolate to dress“ is the theme od this blog parade by Ines Meyrose. It is about outfits or accessories in brown. Be that milky or super dark chocolate.
Um Marina Sirtis als Counselor Troi in Star Trek Enterprise – Das Nächste Jahrhundert zu zitieren „Ich habe noch nie eine Schokolade getroffen, die ich nicht mochte.“ Ich schon. Reichlich – Trauben-Nuss. Alles mit Kaffee oder Frucht/ Creme oder Joghurtfüllungen. Das Thema dieser Blogparade von Ines Meyrose ist „Schokolade zum Anziehen“. Es geht um Outfits mit der Farbe Braun, in Accessoire oder der Kleidung. Egal ob milchschokoladenhell oder zartbitterschokoladendunkel.

One of my favorite chocolates is from Aldi – a milk chocolate with tiny little caramel chips. Initially I wanted my outfit from the Plussize Fashion Days Hamburg Gala as my chocolate outfit. But I botched it up. And desperately needed another outfit.
Meine Lieblingsschokolade ist vom Aldi. Feine Milchschokolade mit Karamelstückchen. Eigentlich wollte ich mein Outfit der Plussize Fashion Days Hamburg Gala als Schokoladen-Look verwenden. Aber ich habe meine Termine verwechselt. Und so musste ein neues Outfit her.

And apart from my first summer in the UK, in 2005 – when chocolate was supposed to be the new black – I don’t have a lot of brown things (anymore): a somewhat too small corduroy skirt, a few pairs of shoes or boots and then some hats and fur scarfs. Fortunately accessories are allowed too.
Und abgesehen von meinem ersten Sommer in England 2005 – als Braun das neue Schwarz sein sollte. habe ich nicht mehr viele Sachen in Braun. Abgesehen von einem Kordrock, der etwas zu klein geworden ist, einige Paar Schuhe oder Stiefel und ein paar Hüte und Handtaschen. Aber zum Glück gehen Accessoires auch.

So I decided to forward an outfit that was meant to be for my „Winter Warm January“. I planned to give myself monthly themes in 2017. Let’s see how that’ll work out. The late summer version of the this dress is light and airy. The rich damask pattern has reminiscences of renaissance gowns. And fur trimmings were quite popular then. A sign of luxury and class.
Also habe ich das Outfit, dass ich für eigentlich erst für den „Warm im Winter Januar“ geplant hatte vorgezogen. Für 2017 habe ich geplant mir selber Themen des Monats zu geben. Wir werden sehen wie gut das klappt. Die Spätsommerversion dieses Kleides ist hell und luftig. Das üppige Muster erinnert mich an Rennaissancekleidung. Pelzverbrämungen waren damals sehr beliebt. Ein Zeichen von Luxus und Stand.

The angora mushroom hat is a 1950s original. From the neighbouring city of Essen. I got it on eBay with the material from this black fascinator with blackberries and a mink hat. All the fur is vintage and from the 1950s or 60s. Here is something I wrote on reclaimed or vintage fur.
Der Pilzhut aus Angora ist ein Original aus den Fünfziger Jahren. Aus der Nachbarstadt Essen. Zusammen mit Material für meinen Fascinator mit den Brombeeren und einem Nerzhut habe ich die drei bei eBay gefunden. Der ganze Pelz den ich trage ist vintage und aus den 1950ger oder 60ger Jahren. Diese Woche habe ich etwas über Vintage und aufgearbeiteten Pelz geschrieben.

The velvet bag is Italian. With bacelite handles. After I bought it I didn’t wear it for quite a while. To resurrect it these last two months.
Die Samttasche ist Italienisch. Mit Bakelitgriffen. Nachdem ich sie secondhand gekauft habe, habe ich sie erst mal einige Zeit nicht getragen. Dafür habe ich sie jetzt die letzten zwei Monate wiederentdeckt.

I think I look like a 1950s version of a Russian Winter Princess. So, what kind of chocolate do you prefer – milk or dark chocolate?
Ich finde ich sehe aus wie eine 1950ger Jahre Version einer Russischen Winter Prinzessin. Hmmm – welche Sorten bevorzugt ihr – Milchschokolade oder Zartbitter?

DIY your Closet – Reclaimed Fur. Alter Pelz. Neues Leben.

It still feels weird to blog about fashion today in the aftermath of the American election. The world seems to go to hell with a handbasket. Skipping. Throwing reason and facts alike over board. And most of us stand and watch in shock. Surprised. Aghast. Our society splits apart. In times when the acceptance of women, cultural diversity and alternative lifestyles is at an all time high.

Es fühlt sich schon heute etwas komisch an über Mode zu schreiben. Am Tag nach der US Wahl. Die Welt wird sich verändern. Wird unberechenbarer. Vernunft und Fakten für scheinen über Bord gegangen zu sein. Und die viele von uns fassen es nicht. Sind überrascht. Entsetzt. Unsere Gesellschaft driftet immer mehr auseinander. Und das gerade in einer Zeit wo die Akzeptanz von Frauen, kulturelle Vielfalt und alternative Lebensentwürfe noch nie so hoch war wie jetzt.

There are things most of us do and don’t. There is a lot of controversial discussion around various topics. Usually people burn more them than politics. Recently one of the most heated topics in one of the few Facebook groups I really follow was about (fake) fur. For me fur is one of my guilty pleasures. I don’t really like camouflage – I struggle with contemporary military looks in everyday life.

Es gibt Dinge die dir meisten von uns spalten. Kontroverse Diskussionen gibt es zuhauf. Meist brennen Leute dafür mehr als für Politik. Neulich ging eine der erhitztesten Diskussionen in einer Facebook Gruppe der ich folge um Pelz beziehungsweise Kunstpelz. Für mich ist Pelz eines dieser Dinge bei dem ich einen Hauch schlechten Gewissens habe. Camouflage oder moderne Militärlooks zum Beispiel mag ich gar nicht.

But fur feels glamorous. Decadent. Archaic. I am too much a child of the eighties though to fully approve of fur. But you don’t have to. There is fake fur. Most of it is actually polyester.

Der Pelz fühlt sich glamourös an. Dekadent. Archaisch. Ich bin vielleicht zu sehr ein Kind der achtziger Jahre um unbeschwert Pelz genießen zu können. Aber das muss man auch nicht. Es gibt auch Kunstpelz. Und der dem ich begegne ist aus Polyester.

But to be honest I don’t like fake fur that much. I prefer the real thing. And there is lots of it available in the vintage section. Coats, scarfs and hats to name a few. I have a few fur scarves. Mink in grey, blonde and brown. Mock leopard. A rabbit muff. Fur brooches.

Aber wenn ich ehrlich bin, mag ich Kunstpelz nicht sehr. Ich mag das echte. Und davon gibt es viel Secondhand. Vintage. Mäntel, Schals, Hüte, um nur ein paar Beispiele zu nennen. Ich habe einige Pelzschals. Nerz in grau, blond und braun. Falscher Leopard. Ein Muff aus Kaninchen. Pelzbroschen.

But there is another way to wear fur – reclaimed fur. From old or vintage items. Fur that already exists. That is dead for longer than I am alive. From its heydays in the 1950-1970s. Where everyone had to have a fur coat. Dead for 40-70 years. Still in excellent condition. More or less unworn. Kept for special occasions. Be that a hat or a jacket, the material can be salvaged. Upcycled. Turned into something new.

Aber es gibt noch einen anderen Weg Pelz zu tragen: aufgearbeiteten Pelz. Aus alten Beständen, Pelzjacken oder Mänteln. Pelz der schon da ist. Der länger tot ist als ich zum Beispiel lebe. Aus der Blütezeit der 1950ger bis 1970ger Jahre. Als man einfach einen Pelz haben musste. Tot seit 40-70 Jahren. Vieles noch in hervorragendem Zustand. Mehr oder minder ungetragen. Für besondere Gelegenheiten aufbewahrt. Egal ob Hut oder Jacke, das Material kann wieder verwendet werden. Upcycled. Etwas Neues entsteht.

I like to use vintage fur for my fascinators. Mostly from hats or caps. They share frumpiness and an unwearability. For me it is a pleasure to turn a dowdy grannies hat into something as luxurious as the material it is made from. Something flirty and fun.

Ich verwende gerne alten Pelz für meine Fascinators. Meist sind die aus alten Hüten oder Mützen. Sie haben gemein, dass sie altbacken und eigentlich untragbar sind. Es bereitet mir Freude aus einem trutschigen Omahut etwas zu machen, das so luxuriös ist wie das Material selber. Etwas neckisches, das Spaß macht.

This month my DIY your Closest project is a fur fascinator. Made from Persian lamb. Astrakhan. In grey. I got a matching scarf from the 1950s. The hat is younger. Probably from the late 1960s or even the 1970s. It feels strange to cut into a hat on hat is in prime condition. But as they say, you can’t make an omelette without breaking eggs. So I cut up the dowdy old thing and made a fascinator out of it.

Diesen Monat ist mein DIY Your Closet Projekt ein Pelzfascinator. Aus grauem Persianer, oder Karakul. Habe ich einen passenden Schal aus den fünfziger Jahren. Der Hut ist jünger. Wahrscheinlich aus den späten sechzigern oder sogar den siebziger Jahren. Es fühlt sich erst mal merkwürdig an in einen Hut hinein zu schneiden der in einem tadellosen Zustand ist. Aber gehobelt wird, da fallen Späne. Deswegen habe ich es auseinander geschnitten und einen Fascinator daraus gemacht.

MyStory – Tweed and Blue!

The football season is coming to a close and though VfL Bochum will not change into the German premier league, we are on a nice 4th place. And much, much more fun to watch than last season before the new coach. It started to get a little warmer for the last games – but it wasn’t around Easter – when the pics were taken. So yes, minus this pale blue coat I wear things like this to the game (different shoes though) or stuff like this or this in Summer. I love the retro vibe of the scarf I bought this season.

Die Spielsaison nähert sich dem Ende und auch wenn der VfL Bochum nicht in die erste Bundesliga wechselt sind wir auf einem schönen vierten Platz. Und es macht seit dem Trainerwechsel letzte Saison endlich Spass ihnen beim Spiel zuzusehen. Es wird auch endlich wärmer – auch wenn die Bilder zu Ostern aufgenommen wurden und da war es noch recht frisch. So – das trage ich tatsächlich zum Spiel (also mit anderen Schuhen) und gerne auch mit diesem Mantel. Wenn es wärmer wird dann wieder sowas hier oder auch das. Ich liebe den Retrolook meines Fan-Schals!

Last summer I quite fell in love with the blogger collection by Studio Untold. So many great things. The tweed pants instantly interested me. I knew when I saw these trousers that they were itchy – and they are. Truly. Ok, I am a proper pincess on the pea with tings like that. Anyway – a bit more lining would have been excellent. They were part of Lisa Mosh’s Blogger Outfit. What do you think?

Letzten Sommer habe ich mich ziemlich in die Blogger Kollektion von Studio Untold verguckt. Die Tweed-Hose hat mich auch mitten im Hochsommer sofort in den Bann geschlagen. Ok, mir war sofort klar, noch bevor ich sie anfasste, die würde ich als kratzig empfinden (denn dabei bin ich leider mega-empfindlich). Etwas mehr Fütterung wäre schön gewesen. Plus40Fabulous: Things I am proud of

Es gibt am Ende einen kurze deutsche Zusammenfassung, der Artikel selber ist auf Englisch.

Apart from a few things and groups I am affiliated with is the Plus40Fabulous group. There is a monthly theme and though I am late I am not too late for my contribution.

So what am I proud of?

There is the obvious thing on this blog – I am proud to be Miss Kittenheel. It is fun and I hope to inspire others to live the way they want it. Give a fig on what the others say. If you want retro – wear it, no matter what your size is. Yes, ridicule can sting but the feeling like you are outside, pressing your nose to the glass while there is a ball going on inside hurts too. It can cripple your soul. Do what makes you happy, what feels right for you! It took me quite a while to cmome to terms that over the years I became first a fat teenage girl and then as a woman the fat remained. Give or take a few diets which made everything worse in the long run.

I am a landscape architect. I have worked in two countries in my profession. It fills me with silly pride that I can touch the things I imagined. On my mothers side I am the first female with academic training and on my fathers side the first female with a degree in engineering, because that is the title I achieved. My job is diverse and chellenging. Of course there are downsides and I am not excited every day about it – but I wouldn’t be real otherwise.

I was raised to be proud to be a European first, before that nationalistic bollocks. These days I am not so proud of my Europe – but I am a stubborn creature and that is not something I let go off easily. So, the third (big) thing I am proud o is being a part time politican with a mandate on my local council. Getting there was a few years hard work and I nearly missed out (as it is politics after all). You can’t have politics without meddling and scheming. You got to have the stomach for that. And persistence. And to boldly go where you know you are not welcome. Where they don’t reserve a seat for you (and saw off the legs under the chair you are sitting on). I met a lot of people who struggled with that. You have to make a lot of compromises. But at some point you also got to draw a line or you loose being yourself.

Currently, for almost a year I am an independent member in my local council. I have left the party I got elected for. I am not proud of that. Had I the chance to turn back time I would do the very same thing again though. Sometimes life isn’t pretty. I started Miss Kittenheel for that. To have something where I am my own boss and just to my bidding. A happy place.

I started my life in politics with a back then new party who sadly started to desintegreate. A lot of what was important for me was lost out of sight. I try to carry some of that with me to my new political home. Civil rights, freedom and social issues are still very important. I started in a party that claimed to be post gender but the last year and recent developments made me realise we still need feminism, maybe more than five years ago.

I won’t burn my bra though but I do burn for equal chances. For a world (and my country) that give my god children the chances I got. For a society where people marry for love and not for provision. For a world where no means no. For a society where you can be whatever you want to be, without fear or persecution (as long as you don’t want to cut back the rights of others because they effing offend you).

Ich bin stolz auch meine drei Leben – ich arbeite als Landschaftsarchitektin und es ist schön die Dinge, die man sich ausgedacht hat anfassen zu können. Ich bin stolz auf Miss Kittenheel – denn ich hoffe so kann ich mehr Menschen erreichen, dass sie so leben, wie es sich für sie richtig anfühlt. Das mit dem Vorbild. Ein schöner, glücklicher Ort. Und ich bin stolz darauf in der (Lokal-) Politik mitzumachen. Gut, dass ist nicht immer so und manchmal fällt man auch unschöne Entscheidungen (immerhin bin ich seit knapp einem Jahr parteilos), aber manches ist notwendig. Für sich selber. In der Politik haben nicht immer alle darauf gewartet das man mitmachen will. Aber das trifft auch für das ganze übrige Leben zu. Und ja, ich bin Feministin – ich meine nicht das wir bessere Menschen als Männer sind. Allerdings ist das mit der Chancengleichheit immer noch unheimlich wichtig. Und das wir das bewahren und hüten ist vielleicht heute wieder wichtiger als noch vor zwei oder drei Jahren.

Recently on a whim I dyed my hair pink again. For my flamingo dress and because I wanted to do it again. Pink hair is fun. It is fading now but here are a few picks as a pink lady. Not as pink as last time though! But I just dyed over my middle blond.

Neulich habe ich mir die Haare nochmal pink gefärbt. Für mein Flamingo-Kleid und einfach so. Weil es Spass macht. Es verblasst gerade wieder, aber hier sind ein paar Bilder als es noch frisch war. Nicht so Pink wie beim letzten Mal, aber diesmal habe ich einfach nur mein Mittelblond überfärbt.

Die entzückende pinke Tasche ist von MyPepita. Genau wie Birgit von Charming Curves habe ich die zu einem reduzierten Preis bekommen. Mir gefällt die Tasche total gut, sie ist nur leider einen Hauch zu klein um mein iPad reinzubekommen UND die Tasche zu schliessen.

Pink Flamingo und Freifunk

Last week was another event at the historic fair (after the steampunk day) – this time a rockabilly one. Someone said he got snowblind because of all the polka dots and that had quite a point. That didn’t come as a surprise and was why I wore my flamingo dress.

The beautiful Megabambi is to blame for this dress. She wore a gorgeous Silly Old Sea Dog dress for her Christmas special. I got the one she wore and the flamingo dress. Both in the sale. The lady on the page from Silly Old Sea Dog had pink hair and I still had some dye and a bit of time left before I left the house. If blondes have more fun – how much even more fun has pink?

I also have now my very own free wifi spot. Freifunk is a part of a global movement for free internet access, for an open, independent and free infrastructure. It is easy to become a part. Want to join us?

Letzte Woche war noch eine Veranstaltung im Rahmen des Historischen Jahrmarktes in der Jahrhunderthalle Bochum – Rock’n Roll anne Raupe. Ganz anders als der Steampunk-Tag zur Eröffnung. Auf Facebook sagte jemand sehr treffend, er wurde schneeblind vor lauter Polkadots. Das kam nicht ganz überraschend und deswegen hatte ich mich für mein Flamingokleid entschieden.

Die wunderschöne Megabambi ist schuld, das ich mir das Kleid gekauft habe. Für ein Weihnachtsspecial trug sie ein herrliches Kleid von Silly Old Sea Dog. Ich habe mir das Kleid gekauft, das sie anhatte und das Flamingokleid. Beides war im Sale. Die Lady auf der Seite des Kleides hat die Haare so schön pink und ich hatte noch etwas Farbe und Zeit bevor ich los musste. Wenn Blondinen mehr Spass haben – wieviel Spass hat dann erst Pink?

Seit heute habe ich einen eigenen Freifunk W-Lan Hotspot. Freifunk ist Teil einer weltweiten Bewegung für offenen, nicht kommerziellen Internetzugang, für freie, unabhängige Netze und Infrastruktur. Es ist nicht schwer mitzumachen – wie das geht seht ihr hier. Lust dabei zu sein?

Der Februar war rappelvoll und hier sind einige meiner Outfits.

Das ist mein Outfit zu meiner letzten Ratssitzung. Leben Nummer zwei – die Lokalpolitikerin.

Last one for today is a casual outfit. For everyday, though miles away from mundane. I wore it on a Friday, though I don’t do casual Friday’s. I bought this fress from another blogger and prior to that I didn’t know that Queens of Holloway copies other designs. Contrary to some of the originals they produce my size too. Anyway – a happy doggy dress. What a style.
Das letzte Outfit für heute ist für zwanglose Angelegenheiten. Etwas für den Alltag, aber kein alltägliches Kleid. Das Kleid ist von Queens of Holloway, ich habe es von einer anderen Bloggerin gekauft. QoH kopieren andere Hersteller, allerdings im Gegensatz zu einigen von ihnen auch in meiner Größe! Anyway – die Hunde sind entzückend!

French Curves Faux Fur + Steampunk

Salut, un autre contribution pour les French Curves challenge du mois – cette fois fausse fourrure. Dans mon cas pas beaucoup de fausse fourrure: peu avec ma cape (qui devient capelet) et le sac à main qui resemble un faux flokati. Et des cerises en hiver – les cerises en été sont ici. Et mon fascinateur se trouve ici. La location était le Jahrhunderthalle à Bochum avec sa foire historique. Le premier jour était voué au steampunk. C’est quoi le steampunk? Un peu Jules Verne 2.0. La mode comme dans un film avec Sherlock Holmes mais avec des roquettes à vapeur. C’etait phantastique!

Hello, another contribution for French Curves monthly challenge – this time Fake Fur. In my case not a lot of fake fur: the trim of my cape (that became a capelet) and the handbag that looks like a black flokati or mongolian fur cushion. These are the winter cherries – you can look at the summer version here. And my matching selfmade fascinator here. The location was the magnificent Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum with its annual historic fair. This year the opening day was dedicated to Steampunk. What is Steampunk? It is a bit like Jules Verne 2.0. Fashionwise like Sherlock Holmes with steam rockets. It was phantastic!

Hallo, dies ist ein weiterer Beitrag für die monatliche Bloggerparade von French Curves – Thema dieses Mal: Fake Fur. In meinen Fall nicht sehr viel Kunstpelz: die Enfassung meines Capes (das neulich gekürzt wurde) und meine Handtasche, die wie ein schwarzes Flokatikissen aussieht. Noch zu sehen gibt es das Kirschkleid im Winter – im Sommer gab es das hier. Mein passender, selbstgemachter Fascinator – hier. Aufnahmeort war die grossartige Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum mit dem jährlichen Historischen Jahrmarkt. Zur Eröffnung gab es einen Steampunktag. Was ist Steampunk? Kurz und knapp: ein wenig Jules Verne 2.0. Von der Kleidung wie in einem Sherlock Holmes Film, in dem es auch Dampfraketen gibt. Einfach phantastisch!

Curvy Corner, Schuhe und Weiberkram

Hach wie schön – neulich fand in Köln der erste Curvy Corner Market statt. Einige Mädels sagten es bereits – es war ein Klassentreffen. Klein, fein, man war unter sich. Zumindest gefühlt. Es war toll so viele von den Mädels wieder zusehen und andere, wie Elli, endlich mal live und in Farbe zu treffen. Navabi war mit einer Lounge und ausgewählten Sachen der neuen Kollektion mit am Start. Seufz – dieses Brokatkleid. Besonders das Gelbe.

So – professionelle Bilder von und in Navabi.

Und von meiner Ma mit iPad aufgenommen – inklusive Füsse! Nur das Kleid ist geliehen, der Rest ist Teil meines eigenen Outfits.

Dann war ich neulich auf der GDS-Schuhmesse in Düsseldorf. Ich habe da sträflich wenige Bilder gemacht. Dafür einige Ideen gesammelt und die werdet ihr dann mit der Zeit entdecken können!
Aber zumindest kann man hier mal sehen was ich anhatte ^^

Die grossartige Ella – Queen der (seriously) High-Heels wird darüber wahrscheinlich nur milde lächeln. Ich mag es nun mal etwas flacher, trotzdem war es schön sie in Düsseldorf wieder zu treffen.

Wenn Curvy Corner das Klassentreffen war, dann war am Wochenende der XL-Flohmarkt von Weiberkram ein Volksfest. Es war voll – laut Zeitung ca. 1500 Besucher(innen). Das Bild ist auch in der Rheinischen Post und schaut euch das Gewimmel an. Ich war einfach viel zu abgelenkt um selber Bilder zu machen. Sorry!

Eigentlich wollte ich ja nichts kaufen, aber u.a. musste eine Flamingo-Tasche von Miss Temple mit. Wir wissen alle, sie kommt in gute Hände. Und demnächst auch mit Artgenossen zu bestaunen (Cliffhanger). Anyway, ein schöner Tag, trotz fiesem Wetter, entspannte Mädels im Schnäppchenfieber und ich hatte eine hervorragende Shoppingbegleitung. Wahrscheinlich seht ihr uns beiden beim nächsten Event verkaufenderweise wieder!

DIY your Closet: Leopard Love and Heart Print

Another turn for DIY Your Closet by Katha and Lisa. It is „surprise, surprise“ another mini-hat or fascinator if you want. Yes, I already did one last month. For me leopard is one of the key patterns in a pin-up or vintage wardrobe. However I prefer my leopard in small dosages. Too much animal print and I think I look like the madam of a cheap brothel. So it’s accents only. Like my selfmade fascinator. I bought another vintage hat on ebay as fake fur. Only it wasn’t. Well, it was vintage and because of that I don’t have any qualms with the realness of the fur. Finally I got the fur fascinator I wanted for a long time. The brooch is vintage, too. Do you like the look?

I love this dress. I got this at Evans a very, very long time ago. Ca. 2006. It is the second look with the same dress for valentines day and once more it sports a heart pattern. This time it is a super cute tunic by Studio Untold. Still on sale. When I saw it I loved the pussy bow. For my vintage inspired wardrobe I have been on the look-out for a pussy bow blouse for quite a while. The mini hearts are quite discreet. Fortunately it is not the smelly kind of polyester (I had some trouble with that last year). The material is lovely, silky and slightly sheer. In a very good way. The bow is on the smaller side, more modern and less tie-like. Nevertheless, the tunic works exquisitly well with that vintage look of mine.

I like to mix and match the patterns – the red hearts on the black base with the fake ponyskin gloves and vintage fur flower.
Ich mische gerne Muster und die Herzen und der Leo-Look passen besonders gut zusammen, wie hier mit der Pelzbrosche und den falschen Ponyfell-Handschuhen.

Ein weiterer Beitrag für DIY Your Closet – Mehr Selbermachen 2016 von Katha und Lisa. Es ist ein weiterer Mini-Hut oder Fascinator. Keine Überraschung, oder? Ja, letzten Monat habe ich schon einen gemacht. Für mich ist Leopard eines der klassischen Mustern in der Pin-Up oder Vintagegarderobe. Anyway, ich bevorzuge Leo in kleinen Mengen. Zuviel und ich sehe aus wie die Madam eines billigen Puffs. Also nur kleine Highlights. Wie mein selbstgemachter Fascinator. Ich habe mal wieder einen alten Hut auf Ebay erstanden. Als Kunstpelz verkauft. Stimmte aber nicht. Da es sich um eine Mütze aus den 1960gern handelt, habe ich mit der Echtheit des Fells weing Probleme. Endlich habe ich das Mini-Hütchen, das ich schon lange haben wollte. Die Pelzbrosche ist auch Vintage. Gefällt euch mein Look?

Ich liebe dieses Kleid. Das habe ich ca. 2006 bei Evans gekauft. Es ist das zweite Outfit das ich mit diesem Kleid zum Valentin’s Tag zusammengestellt habe. Wieder mal ein Herz-Muster. Diesmal mit einer entzückenden Tunika von Studio Untold. Sie ist immer noch im Sale. Die Schluppenbluse hat mir sofort gefallen, so etwas habe ich schon länger gesucht. Die Mini-Herzchen sind sind recht unauffällig. Dankbarerweise ist es nicht die Art von Polyester, die schnell anfängt zu riechen. Das Material ist schmeichelnd, seidig und auf eine schöne Art leicht transparent. Die Schleife ist recht schmal und nicht so breit wie eine Krawatte. Trotzdem passt die Tunika hervorragend zu meinem Vintagestil.
