I do love my novelty prints. And I refuse to put some of my dresses into winter storage. The Eiffeltower print is great – girly, floral and classy. Still fun. So how does this dress make the trasformation from a gorgeous summer dress into something that works in the cold season, too?
Ich liebe meine Drucke und Muster. Und ich packe einige Kleider am liebsten gar nicht ins Winter- oder Sommerlager. Der Eiffelturm-Druck ist grossartig – sehr edel, girly und doch floral. Aber immer noch witzig. Wie schafft es dieses Kleid dann nicht am Ende des Sommers weggepackt zu werden sondern  in die kalte Jahreszeit?

Layering is the key – I wear a blue stripey shirt underneath – and even thermal wear underneath depending on temperatures. The wristwarmers make it extra toasty. The blue cotton scarf can be worn all year round. On milder days it is still warm enough. I finally found a pale blue beret. Somehow that took ages.
Layering oder Schichten sind der Schlüssel dazu. Ich trage ein Streifenhemd drunter. Und manchmal wenn es kühler wird auch Thermowäsche. Die Pulswärmer machen es besonders kuschelig. Der blaugetupfte Baumwollschla ist das ganze Jahr einsetzbar. Zumindest an milderen Tagen. Irgendwann habe ich endlich die hellblaue Baskenmütze gefunden, nach der ich schon sehr lange gesucht hatte.

The opaque tights add to wintery theme. I whish I went for the pale blue handbag – the mock hatbox is pretty though. Its storage and weight capability however is limited.
Die blickdichte Strumpfhose unterstützt das winterliche Thema. Im Nachhinein hätte ich mich besser für die hellblaue Handtasche entschieden. Die Hutschachtel-Handtasche ist zwar sehr hübsch, aber auch etwas zu hell für das Outfit. Leider passt nicht viel rein – weder an Menge noch an Gewicht.

Eiffeltowers and florals – I like the pattern. I still would lave a toile de jouy dress (think Dita von Teese) – but for now this has to do.
Eiffeltürme und Blumenmuster – ich mag den Druck. Ich hätte unheimlich gerne ein Toile de Jouykleid (yep, wie Dita von Teese) – aber momentan muss dass hier reichen.
