Garden Delights: Midsummer Peaches

This is a dress good enough to eat. HellBunny introduced the Somerset dress with the peach pattern last summer and I bought it in the sales in September. I bought it in aqua (the other one was yellow-orange). Such a lovely colour combination. The flower wreath is vintage and perfect for midsummer.

In zwei Farben.

Tropical Delight – Palmleaf Jumpsuit

I love tropical patterns. I have an ambivalent towards jumpsuits. Yes, they are cool. Going to the toilet still is an issue that isn’t as glam as looking at yourself wearing them in the mirror.

In April I had to go to Dortmund to a medical examination. On the way home my mum and I passed the YoursClothing Shop in Dortmund. Thought it was a good incentive to buy a few more knickers and left the shop with quite a few plus this jump suit.

Once more it is a coulotte style. Thought they always make me look square. They might not be ultra flattering but I love them nevertheless and I feel glam. The material is light and breezy and zipping myself up and down is feasible even without being a yoga pro.

Last Sunday the local philharmonic orchestra, the theatre and the art museum made a joint festival in the park. With music, actors, DIY projects. I went with Pam and Karl, the now toddler god-child. He had a blast and I had a snooze on my pretty tropical picnic blanket.

Roman Holiday – Italian Garden Delights

This month is about garden delights. starting with my lovely tomato fascinator in an outfit that pays hommage to the 1950s classic movie Roman Holiday. Unfortunately no vespa ride with Gregory Peck for me – but I recently cleaned my two bikes.

I got the bag for Christmas. I first came across Save My Bag at the Panorama Fair during the January 2015 Fashion Week in Berlin. A nod to the classic Birkin bag but made of a light neoprene. Finally a bag that doesn’t need wheels when filled up. It comes in a variety of colours and it is tough to decide on just one.

The exquisite tomato hat is by Frollein von Sofa. Bought at a flash sale. The tomatos look and feel very real. And unlike any millinery confection with cupcakes or similar things I feel fine with fruit or veg. Either as a pattern or on my head.

A pea brooch – vintage style with a true vintage 1960s scarf.

Eine Erbsenbrosche im Retrolook. Der Schal ist ein Original aus den 1960gern.

The camera team. Someone wants to be tossed up in the air.

Mein Fototeam. Ratet mal wer hochgeworfen werden will.
